Job Overview:

As a Level 1 (L1) Veeam Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the organization's Veeam backup and replication solutions. This may include installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support for Veeam systems.

Responsibilities:

System Monitoring: Monitor system performance and ensure system availability and reliability. Report anomalies and issues to senior engineers and Team Lead.

Backup & Recovery Management: Monitor backup schedules and recovery processes. Witness and verify backups and assist in verifying recoveries as necessary.

Incident Management & Troubleshooting: Respond to and manage incidents related to Veeam systems. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Documentation: Assist to document system configurations, procedures, and changes. Assist in maintaining records of incidents and resolutions for future reference.

User Support & Training: Provide support and training to Tenant end-users on Veeam systems. Assist users with backup and recovery procedures within VBR, Veeam Service Provider Console, etc.

Requirements:

Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Certifications in Veeam solutions or similar technologies are highly desirable.

Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in systems engineering or IT support, preferably with a focus on Veeam solutions.

Technical Skills: Familiarity with Veeam backup and replication solutions, as well as related technologies such as virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and storage systems. Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and databases.

Soft Skills: Good problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team and handle multiple tasks.

Other: Willingness to stay up-to-date with the latest in Veeam and related technologies.
