Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sales Executive to expand our Data Center solutions business across North America. This role demands a deep understanding of the data center industry, strong sales acumen, and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders in the region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in selling complex technology solutions and will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Regional Sales Strategy:

  • Develop and implement a sales strategy tailored to the North American market to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the data center and IT infrastructure sectors across North America.
  • Stay updated on market trends, generating leads for business needs, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust strategies accordingly.

Client Engagement and Relationship Management:

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their specific data center requirements and business challenges.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing clients with insights and solutions that align with their business objectives and the latest industry trends.

Technical Solution Selling:

  • Clearly articulate the technical features and benefits of our data center solutions, including colocation, cloud services, and managed hosting.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to develop and present customized solutions that meet the unique needs of North American clients.

Business Development and Market Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify new leads and potential clients within North America.
  • Analyze the competitive landscape and market conditions to position our data center solutions effectively.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities and manage sales activities using CRM systems.

Proposal and Contract Management:

  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and contracts to clients.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to secure mutually beneficial agreements.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and technical support, to ensure the successful delivery of data center solutions
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of stakeholders, from technical engineers to C-suite executives, ensuring clear understanding and alignment.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Track and report on key sales metrics, providing regular updates and insights to senior management.
  • Use sales data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas for strategic focus.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales, with a significant portion in the data center, IT infrastructure, or cloud services industry.
  • Proven success in managing large enterprise accounts and complex sales cycles within North America.

Technical Skills:

  • Deep understanding of data center technologies, including colocation, cloud computing, networking, and managed services.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales productivity tools.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in data center management, cloud computing, or related technologies.
  • Experience with regulatory and compliance issues specific to the North American market.
  • Familiarity with advanced sales techniques and data analytics tools.
