Job Summary:

The IT Solution Architect plays a key role in translating business requirements into effective and scalable technology solutions. This individual is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex IT architectures that support and enhance business processes. The IT Solution Architect works closely with various stakeholders, including business leaders, enterprise architects, project managers, developers, and system administrators, to ensure the successful delivery of IT solutions. Min 12+ years of experience with at least 5-7 years of experience as a “Solution Architect”.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design:

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and objectives.

Design end-to-end solutions that meet business needs, considering scalability, security, performance, and other relevant factors.

Create and maintain detailed architecture documentation.

Technical Leadership:

Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams during the implementation phase.

Ensure that the implemented solutions align with the overall architectural vision.

Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Work closely with business analysts to understand and refine functional requirements.

Collaborate with project managers to estimate the effort required for solution implementation.

Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Technology Evaluation:

Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and frameworks that align with the organization's strategy.

Conduct feasibility studies and assess the potential impact of technology choices.

Risk Management:

Identify potential risks associated with the proposed solutions and recommend mitigation strategies.

Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards in all architectural decisions.

Quality Assurance:

Collaborate with quality assurance teams to define testing strategies and ensure the quality of delivered solutions.

Participate in code reviews and architectural inspections.

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

Proven experience as a Solution Architect or in a similar role.

Technical Skills:

In-depth knowledge of various IT domains, including application development, databases, networking, and cloud technologies.

Experience with architectural frameworks and methodologies.

Proficiency in modelling and design tools.

Communication Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Problem-Solving:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to make decisions that balance technical and business considerations.

Certifications:

Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, ITIL certifications, Systems Engineering certs such as MCSE/MCSA, Hypervisors such as VMWare VCP, VCAP, VCDX, Nutanix, etc., Networking Cisco CCNA, CCIE, or equivalent in Juniper, CompTIA Security+, all beneficial toward well-rounded candidate.
